Your WorkWithin the dynamic Supply Chain Department team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining fit-for-purpose inventory levels currently over EUR 20 million across seven global warehouses and for improving and safeguarding the integrity of article master data across thousands of items. You ensure materials are available on time without creating excess stock and keep article data accurate and consistent to support operations and cost control.
You will functionally lead up to two FTE and coordinate efforts with global warehouse teams. You collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management, QHSE, ERP, engineering, procurement, rental fleet management, and finance.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Execute cycle counts and investigate discrepancies between physical and system stock.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments and support warehouse operations.
- Optimize storage locations and stock flows with logistics and production.
- Create and maintain item master data (codes, descriptions, attributes, classifications).
- Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in collaboration with engineering and production.
- Prevent duplication and data errors through regular audits and validations.
- Align inventory and data processes with stakeholders across procurement, engineering, finance, and IT.
- Support ERP updates and migrations by validating and preparing item data.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports on inventory performance and data quality.
- Contribute to planning and forecasting through accurate stock and item data.
- Act in accordance with SHEQ standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Higher vocational education (e.g., logistics, supply chain, business administration).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in inventory control and/or master data management.
- Strong ERP system knowledge (preferably INFOR).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and structured way of working.
- Capable of operating independently and initiating improvements.
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional and global teams.
