Responsibilities
  • Performs work of considerable difficulty in case processing and legal clerical duties for the Clerk of Superior Court.
  • This is a working/journey position that works under general supervision.
  • Work assignments may be in one or more case-type areas, including but not limited to front counter, distribution, child support, fines, restitution, and jury.
  • The incumbent applies judgment to the diversified subject matter, selecting appropriate guidelines and applying general policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) years of general office, legal clerical, or accounting-related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
  • Typing speed: 40 words per minute (five-minute test).
