Position: Physical Therapist (Inpatient) - Per Diem - $61.80/hr

Physical Therapist (Inpatient) - Per Diem - $61.80/hr

Join the Therapy Services Team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. The role is a per diem appointment with a rate of $61.80 per hour in an interdisciplinary inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a Physical Therapy evaluation or screen.
  • Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals.
  • Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary.
  • Document the course of patient care, including progress made and the continuing need for treatment.
  • Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals.
  • Communicate and demonstrate a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others.
  • Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare.
  • Assist with orientation of new staff as requested.
  • Meet KHI requirements for skills competency and safety.
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
  • Assist with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program.
  • Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation, meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Complete billing by the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and justification in documentation.
  • Meet individual productivity standards.
  • Achieve or exceed patient satisfaction standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an APTA approved four‑year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent.
  • Licensure: Current PT License through the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Experience: Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population.
  • Preferences: Education or experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable.

  • Exposure Category II: duties have possible, but not routine, potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
Work Requirements
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate during therapeutic interventions.
