Physical Therapist (Inpatient) - Therapy Services

We are looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist (Inpatient) to join our Therapy Services Team. Sign‑on and relocation available.
Position
Purpose:
The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. All patient encounters will involve AIDET, hand hygiene, patient positioning, pain management, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Conduct a Physical Therapy evaluation or screen.
- Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary.
- Document the course of patient care including progress and continuing need for treatment.
- Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals.
- Communicate and demonstrate a professional image for patients, families, and coworkers.
- Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare.
- Assist with orientation of new staff as requested.
- Meet KHI requirements for skills competency and safety.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Assist with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program.
- Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities.
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Complete billing on time, accurate, and justified in documentation.
- Meet individual productivity standards and patient satisfaction expectations.
- Education:
Graduate of an APTA‑approved four‑year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent. - Licensure:
Current PT License through the AZ Board of Physical Therapy. - Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience:
Recent experience working with adult and geriatric population. - Preferences:
Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable.

The incumbent must be able to lift and transfer patients and equipment, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions.
