Position OverviewThe successful candidate will deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting their developmental, educational, and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
- Implement evidence‑based OT interventions to address specific needs and promote skill development.
- Monitor and document progress toward goals, adjusting plans as needed.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff about strategies to promote student participation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for academic and functional needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of education plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting.
- Proficiency with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric OT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other modalities (preferred).

Physical RequirementsEmployees must stand, walk, and move around various areas of the school. The role requires effective verbal and written communication, ability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds, and physical stamina to supervise and engage students throughout the day.
