Position Overview

The successful candidate will deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting their developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
  • Implement evidence‑based OT interventions to address specific needs and promote skill development.
  • Monitor and document progress toward goals, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff about strategies to promote student participation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for academic and functional needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of education plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric OT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other modalities (preferred).
