The Service Tech I (driver) compiles ordered pharmaceuticals, supplies, health‑moving equipment (HME), and oxygen, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to patients’ homes.

• Complete appropriate home safety evaluation and provide patient/caregiver education related to ordered equipment and supplies.
• Perform equipment setup, orientation, and demonstration of safe operation of HME.
• Assist in general warehouse duties such as stocking, rotating inventory, receiving, shipping, and processing equipment and supplies.
• Accurately pick and/or compile ordered supplies, medications, and equipment, and obtain supervisor’s cross‑check before leaving the Center.
• Retrieve all related documentation, patient education materials, and other required paperwork for each delivery before departure.
• Organize delivery routes to maximize cost‑effective and timely deliveries that meet therapy and patient schedules.
• Call patients/caregivers to schedule deliveries prior to leaving the Center.
• Inform patients/caregivers if the agreed‑upon timeframe cannot be met.
• Obtain return demonstration from the patient/caregiver to ensure adequate and safe knowledge of the ordered equipment.
• Return all required documentation for each delivery at the end of each day with a completed route sheet.
• Pick up discontinued equipment and place it in the “dirty area” of the vehicle after bagging and tagging it as dirty.
• Maintain delivery vehicle in accordance with the Fleet Management Safety Program and company policies and procedures.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as maintaining inventories, shipping, receiving, placing orders, cleaning equipment, and facility maintenance.
