Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will provide leadership, support, and hands-on care, ensuring adherence to policies and delivering exceptional resident care. Essential Job Functions
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate care for residents and CNAs.
- Manage all resident medications, including controlled substances, with accountability.
- Ensure medication storage security.
- Educate and support residents' healthcare journey.
- Manage CNA assignments and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Conduct resident rounds and ensure Care Plan compliance.
- Uphold physician orders accurately.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including medication and treatment records.
- Complete MDS assessments and report accurately.
- Report errors promptly.
- Track central supply items.
- Report abuse or neglect immediately.
- Provide on-call support as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology, safety, infection control, and resident rights.
- Skill in equipment use, independent work, safety standards, and communication.
- Ability to recognize condition changes, follow legal and professional standards, and ask for help when needed.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 100 pounds.
- Constant physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Visual and auditory acuity.
- Safety-sensitive position.
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training
- Graduate of a state-approved nursing program.
- Valid Arizona Nursing License or equivalent.
- Maintain CPR, COVID-19 vaccination or exemption, TB testing, and ongoing training requirements.
