American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring an AZ or compact RN license and recent telemetry experience.

• MS/Tele unit with potential remote telemetry monitoring responsibilities
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Floating to other MS units required if needed, with potential float to PCU based on skillset alignment
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• BLS required; ACLS required only if floating to PCU
• 1 year of recent Med/Surg acute care experience required
• Telemetry experience required due to potential remote monitoring duties
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management preferred
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams preferred
• Experience with central line, PICC line, and arterial line management preferred
• Experience with blood product administration preferred
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit with potential for remote telemetry monitoring
• Manage cardiac drips without titration and follow heparin protocols
• Utilize isolation precautions and PPE as needed
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Holiday coverage required
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs accepted
• RTO should be kept to a minimum and submitted upfront
