American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with at least 1 year of recent Med Surg and telemetry experience for a day shift position requiring an AZ or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required
• Floating required to other Med/Surg units, with potential to float to PCU if skills align
• Potential for remote telemetry monitoring responsibilities

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• BLS certification required; ACLS required only if floating to PCU
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote monitoring duties
• Experience with 1:5-6 patient ratios preferred

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit with potential remote telemetry monitoring duties
• Orientation held every Monday
• Holiday coverage required
• Travel pairs accepted
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• RTO must be kept to a minimum at time of consideration
