American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of ED experience.

• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00
• Float between ED and CDU (Observation Unit)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Meditech charting system experience preferred but not required
• Orientation held every Monday
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• ESI certification preferred
• 2 years of ED experience required
• Experience in general ED (combined adult/pediatric) settings
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills in pediatric emergency care, psychiatric emergencies, IV therapy, respiratory management, and neurological trauma care
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and 12-lead EKG interpretation
• Skill in triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and orthopedic splinting

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of conditions including trauma, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
• Holiday coverage required with minimal RTO requested at time of submission
• Travel pairs accepted
• First-time travelers accepted if they have more than 2 years of ED experience, with a 12-hour orientation
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same pay rate
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
