Key Responsibilities- Transport patients in house to and from Surgical Services.
- Order and restock supplies.
- Responds to requests for transport in a pleasant, timely manner.
- Maintains continuous availability via wireless communication device.
- Assume responsibility and duties of the department housekeeper as needed.
- Transport specimens and equipment and supplies needed.
Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association
PreferencesHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
SpecialPosition Requirements
Exposure Category I
Work Requirements- Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds and stand & walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to assist with the movement of patients weighing up to 300 pounds.
