Job Information

Title: Work Placement & Careers Coordinator – EHCP / High Needs Learners

Location: King's Lynn (with regular travel to other campuses)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 37 weeks a year (term‑time plus one week)

Salary: £24,368 – £24,709 (inclusive of a non‑contractual recruitment and retention allowance of £1,392)

Responsibilities
  • Support learners with EHCP or significant needs to find suitable work placements and progress into employment after college
  • Work closely with students, parents/carers, teaching teams and local businesses to establish working partnerships ensuring placements are accessible and successful
  • Provide information, advice and guidance throughout the year to support learners’ next steps and progression
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify learners within curriculum areas who require additional help finding a placement
  • Provide support to students in the inclusive learning faculty and attend campuses as required (Wisbech, Cambridge, Sports, Downham Market)
