Grade A Recruitment are working with a specialist alternative provision school in King's Lynn who are looking to appoint a qualified SEN Teacher to join their team from 3rd September 2026.
This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity working with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role will initially run until 23rd December 2026, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH
- Create a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to support individual learning needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Full‑time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
- Long‑term position from 3rd September to 23rd December 2026
