Due to continued growth and expansion we are recruiting for Lecturers to join us on a permanent basis. The Health and Social Care Department offers a range of courses; GCSE 14-16 Programme, level 1-3 Health and Social Care courses, including T-level in Health and Adult Counselling courses at our Wisbech Campus.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we are growing as a team as well as with the provision that we are offering to our learners. We are committed to remaining at the forefront of education developments and are planning to include apprenticeships during the next Academic year, with much more to come in the future.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to complement our strong team, an individual with the vales that align with our department charter 'collaboration, expectation, communication!' Whether you have a teaching background already or are a Health or Social Care professional in industry, looking for your next challenge- we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting and challenging role working with learners looking to forge a career in health or social care. We have close links with NHS and healthcare providers across the region, including hospitals, hospices and care providers enabling us to design and implement a curriculum that truly meets the needs of our local communities.

Teaching experience is desired but not essential. If you are passionate about health and social care and want to share this with young people, to develop their personal and professional skills, while inspiring them to reach their full potential, apply today. We will work with you to ensure that the curriculum that you deliver is in line with your skills, qualifications and experience.

We pride ourselves on our approach to the work life balance of our team and actively support job share and flexible working opportunities.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Health & Social Care team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
