Location: Kings Lynn
North Norfolk & South Lincolnshire | Field based across four sites
Up to £47,500 DOE + up to 15% bonus + company van
Monday to Friday days | TOIL | 7.5% company pension | Private healthcare | 33 days holiday excluding bank holidays
Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer or Field Service Engineer looking for a varied days-based role in renewable energy?
Were recruiting for an established renewable energy business maintaining biogas plants across Norfolk and South Lincolnshire. Youll use your electrical and mechanical skills to keep essential process equipment running, with a company van, tools and equipment provided.

The role
Working alongside maintenance and operations teams, youll carry out planned maintenance, troubleshoot faults and respond to breakdowns across four rural sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
Maintaining pumps, compressors, piping systems and gas processing equipment.
Supporting major overhauls, shutdowns, start-ups and commissioning.
Working with specialist contractors and completing accurate maintenance reports.
Managing spare parts, van stock, tools and equipment.
Joining an out-of-hours call-out rota and occasionally providing plant operations cover.
Regular travel between sites is required, with occasional work outside the region and some lone working.
What youll need
A time-served electrical apprenticeship and relevant NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent qualifications .
Maintenance experience within manufacturing or a process environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills, three-phase knowledge and the ability to read electrical diagrams.
Practical mechanical knowledge of pumps, compressors and associated equipment.
An understanding of instrumentation, analogue and digital signals, and PLC fundamentals.
Experience in food manufacturing, chemicals, steel, petrochemicals, oil and gas or similar industries would transfer well. Previous biogas experience is not essential.
