We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing team in King’s Lynn as an Accounts/Finance Apprentice
. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in finance while studying towards a Level 2 AAT Accounting qualification.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience in a busy finance department, supported by structured training and mentoring, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will progress through levels 2, 3 & 4 of the AAT qualification.
About the RoleThis apprenticeship is designed to provide a strong foundation in finance and accounting. You’ll develop key skills in financial administration, data processing, and supporting day‑to‑day accounting functions, all within a fast‑paced and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with processing purchase and sales invoices
- Support accounts payable and receivable activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry systems
- Help reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding financial queries
- Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation
- Support general administrative duties within the finance department
- A genuine interest in finance, accounting, and business administration
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word – training provided)
- GCSE grades 4/C in English and Maths, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2
- If English or Maths at Level 2 has not yet been achieved, you will be required to attend additional Functional Skills sessions alongside your apprenticeship
- A nationally recognised Level 2, 3 & 4 AAT Accounting qualification
- Full training and mentoring from experienced finance professionals
- Practical, real-world experience in a finance environment
- A pathway to permanent employment and future progression within finance
- 23 days annual leave + bank holidays

Hours39 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 4 days in office and 1 day study leave per week.
