You will have the opportunity to build your own team, establish the culture and standards of the home, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) can develop, achieve and prepare for adulthood.

- Supporting the development of effective care planning, risk management and recording processes.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
- A strong understanding of Ofsted requirements, Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be actively working towards this qualification.
- Experience leading and developing a team within a children's residential care environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident, approachable and inspirational leadership style.
- A genuine passion for safeguarding and improving the lives of children and young people.
- Experience of setting up or registering a new children's home would be advantageous, although candidates with strong residential childcare management experience are encouraged to apply.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a brand-new children's home from the very beginning, giving you genuine scope to influence the culture, team and quality of the service.
