Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation who are seeking to appoint a Commercial Assistant to join their commercial team. Based in Cheshire, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced commercial environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting commercial decision-making.

Job Duties:

Maintain and update pricing models, including cost and FX adjustments. Support the preparation and distribution of customer price lists. Carry out pricing validation, ASP checks and price/volume analysis. Assist with costing requests and blend cost calculations. Produce regular commercial reports, including daily sales reporting and performance analysis. Analyse commercial data using Excel to support business decision-making. Monitor market pricing information and maintain costing sheets.

Assist with margin tracking and profitability analysis. Manage incoming commercial queries and support commercial administration activities. Update internal systems, trackers and reporting tools. Maintain accurate records relating to pricing changes, trials and commercial activities. Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from the wider commercial team. Ideal

Experience:

Previous experience within a commercial, analytical, administrative or business support role. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data. Competent across the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proactive, positive and team-orientated approach. Understanding of commercial principles and profitability management would be advantageous.
