KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from May 2026

The inspection report highlights a calm and inclusive school environment where pupils demonstrate positive attitudes to learning and feel well supported. Leadership provides clear direction and maintains a strong focus on safeguarding, consistency, and pupil well‑being.

This KS2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work full time within a supportive primary school setting on a long‑term, ongoing basis. The KS2 Teacher will focus on delivering high‑quality classroom teaching using existing planning and resources, with no planning or marking required. This role is ideal for a confident KS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching without additional workload and can provide consistency for pupils from May 2026 onwards.

Duties

as KS2 Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons using pre‑prepared plans and resources
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement in learning
  • Adapt delivery to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and colleagues
  • Provide feedback to pupils during lessons to support understanding
  • Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
  • Reliable and committed to a full-time, long-term role
  • Flexible and adaptable teaching approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
