This part-time role as a Home Help Support Worker is based at clients homes in West Devon. The role is varied and may involve assisting clients with various day-to-day tasks to enable them to live independently, or promoting their independence by practicing life skills like cooking or catching public transport with them, it may include household cleaning, decluttering, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, or running errands, reconnecting people with the local community by bringing them to coffee mornings or to classes or groups.

You may also provide companionship or respite assistance, you may be required to accompany clients to appointments or social outings. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role allows you to work with clients on a regular basis, picking days and times which suit you to form a regular routine for the clients you support, creating meaningful impact in their lives.

We have hours waiting in, Aveton Gifford (4hrs weekly), Modbury (2hrs weekly) - you pick the jobs which suit your skills and preferences on times/days/locations and job types. We care about you having clients you enjoy working with at days and times to suit you (this role is self employed - allowing for that flexibility). Pick days and times to suit your schedule.
