Registered Paediatric Nurse

• Coordinate with the paediatric lead
• Discuss the care and condition of paediatric patients with families and carers
• Make sound decisions in changing clinical situations, using analytical judgement

• Paediatric nursing degree

• NMC professional registration, kept up to date with current nursing practice

• At least 6 months' paid experience in a paediatric hospital environment within the last 3 years
• 1 year as a paediatric nurse

• Additional certification and skills, depending on the Trust
