Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages sales, service, and distribution support activities for customers. The CSR acts as the primary contact for customers, addressing their needs and coordinating problem resolution with Sales and other departments. The role involves working closely with field sales, managing order fulfillment, and collaborating with supply chain, business, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer purchase orders from entry to invoicing, including handling requests, inquiries, and complaints, and entering forecasts.
  • Analyze inventory levels and customer demand patterns.
  • Support customer needs in partnership with Sales.
  • Maintain and report on customer records and information.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Provide backup support to colleagues as needed.
  • Travel occasionally to support sales efforts.
  • Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, international business, sales, marketing, or related fields. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

    Desired Competencies

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and Word; SAP experience is a plus.
    • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and systems.
    • Strong skills in prioritization, planning, and analysis.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Relevant experience in customer service, sales, supply chain, or manufacturing is valued but not mandatory.
    • Knowledge of relevant products is a plus.
    • Courses or degrees in chemistry, engineering, mathematics, IT, operations, supply chain management, or certifications like APICS are advantageous.
