Neurohospitalist Kingsport, TN

Seeking full-time board certified/board eligible Neurohospitalist for an exciting inpatient only opportunity at Level 3 trauma center located in Kingsport, Tennessee that has more than 450 BC/BE physicians on staff and is recognized by the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association and the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center.

• 7 days on / 7 off schedule - 24-hour coverage 12-hour day coverage /12-hour telephonic coverage
• Employed position
• Average patient volume: 12–15 patients (including consults)
• Epic EMR – health system-wide
• Physician extender (NP) support
• This position covers inpatient stroke and general neurology, including consults in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and the emergency room and reading routine and prolonged EEGs.
