American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit requiring a TN or compact RN license and 2 years of MS/Tele experience.

• Med/Surg Tele unit with 1:7 patient ratios
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule options include 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• Epic charting system preferred

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele and Med/Surg experience required
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line care
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with telemetry monitoring (unit-based required, remote preferred)
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients, including medication administration, line management, and cardiac monitoring
• Participate in clinical education and support for nursing students alongside standard patient care duties
• General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online learning modules
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit-testing guidelines
