Quality Control / Manager, Quality Technician/ Inspector

We are seeking a Lead QA/QC to work in Kingsport, TN. The role is responsible for planning and coordinating the quality control program to ensure continuous production of products that meet established standards. It is a non‑exempt position reporting to the Site QC Manager or QC Supervisor and involves routine duties within established policies.
Essential Qualifications- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs, CAD drawings, etc.
- Experience interpreting/understanding 3‑D modeling
- Pass a drug/alcohol test, physical evaluation, and sign the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Compliance with company and client site safety requirements
Develop a deep understanding of the company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes. Perform inspections and witness tests to determine the acceptability of work, conduct audits to ensure QA/QC compliance, define corrective measures, and supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities. Analyze statistical data and specifications to maintain current product standards and develop quality‑reliability expectations for finished products. Plan, promote, and organize quality and reliability activities, maintain performance records, and ensure the correctness of all documentation.
Carry out additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Final agreed‑upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.

Physical InvolvementEmployees may be required to climb ladders, use scaffolds, and work on structures above and below ground level; maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds; reach in all directions; handle and manipulate objects and materials; operate tools and equipment; lift 30–50 lbs. from ground, waist, or overhead; stand, sit, walk; and perform tasks involving basic math, planning, and reading of blueprints or drawings.
They must also recognize and report safety hazards.
