Project Accountant

Position: Project Accountant 2 – HDR

In this role, you will be responsible for project accounting and client invoicing tasks, working independently on financial documentation and collections management. You will maintain contracts efficiently while collaborating with project staff to resolve financial issues. Additionally, your mentoring skills will help guide junior accountants in their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage invoicing and collections for clients

• Document and enter contract fees and budgets

• Deliver contract performance data to stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with project accounting systems

• Support and mentor junior accountants

Requirements:

• Associate degree or related experience required

• Minimum of 5 years in a project accounting role

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management beneficial

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
