In this position, you will oversee the bi-weekly payroll process while ensuring adherence to federal and provincial regulations. Your responsibilities include managing payroll deductions, responding to employee inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Your role is essential in supporting audits and preparing payroll reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage payroll transactions related to employees
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
• Coordinate year-end payroll activities and reporting
• Assist with payroll system changes and validations
• Support employee benefits administration related to payroll
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years full-cycle Canadian payroll experience
• 2-year diploma in accounting or related field
• Experience with Dayforce or similar systems
• Able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
• Strong analytical and communication skills
