accountant Job detailsWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting various accounting functions. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a professional environment, utilizing advanced accounting software and tools to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
Duties- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports using accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, Sage, and People Soft
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data
- Conduct auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Assist with payroll processing and related activities
- Support budgeting, account analysis, and financial forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure data integrity across all financial systems
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial services and reporting needs
- CPA or working towards CPA
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, Sage, and People Soft
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping processes
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles including budgeting and financial analysis
- Ability to perform payroll processing accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$ per year
