Position: Accounting Technician Role at MNP

In this versatile position, you will assist in various accounting functions, including the preparation of tax documents and auditing tasks. Working on-site, you will help maintain financial accuracy while supporting clients in making well-informed decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bookkeeper, audit, and tax engagements

• Prepare and manage accounts and government filings

• Help set up client files and budgets

• Conduct month-end and quarter-end processes

• Reconcile GL accounts and troubleshoot discrepancies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or accounting certificate preferred

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting

• Knowledge of T4s, T5s, and tax preparation beneficial

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Experience with accounting and tax software is an asset
