Job Title: Jr. Bookkeeper

Location: Kingston, Ontario

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (with room to grow)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm.

Training will begin as part‑time (approximately three days per week) and increase to full‑time hours as onboarding progresses.

This role will support management with general bookkeeping and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a Bookkeeping or Business Administration program and is eager to put their skills into practice in a professional, team‑focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Record, reconcile, and verify daily financial transactions
  • Maintain ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month‑end and year‑end procedures
  • Perform data entry using Excel, ensuring accurate formulas, formatting, and totals
  • Support management with general bookkeeping and administrative tasks as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records

What We’re Looking For:

  • Post‑secondary education in Bookkeeping or Business Administration
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting, and data organization)
  • Familiarity with Quick Books Online or Xero is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and minimal errors
  • Excellent organization, time‑management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
