Overview
This position is required to work independently and must be able to function with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, judgement and efficiency with respect to the timely completion of administrative tasks. In this role, the successful candidate will report to the VP, Procurement & In House Maintenance and will also assist with the development and implementation of best practices within the department.
Responsibilities
Provide diversified administrative support to our In House Maintenance Division in a fast‑paced office environment
Handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Preparation of various letters, reports, spreadsheets and presentations
Arrange travel and schedule meetings
Responsible for a variety of general office duties
Carry out special projects
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in an administrative or business‑related discipline is required.
Excellent keyboarding skills
Strong work ethic
Professional articulate manner
High level of attention to detail, accuracy and follow‑up
Efficient time manager with the ability to multi‑task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of technical competence using computers, including Microsoft Office – Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and internet usage
