Enhance your scheduling expertise as a Staffing Clerk this role, you will efficiently manage staff shifts using scheduling software while ensuring compliance with collective agreements.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will maintain confidential staff records and manage employee availability. You will also prepare daily call-in sheets, coordinate staffing requests from department managers, and communicate schedule-related issues. This position requires a professional who can work under pressure and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain confidential records of staff skills and availability
• Prepare and distribute daily call-in sheets for shifts
• Fill available shifts as per scheduling protocols
• Manage staff acceptance of offered shifts
• Communicate with supervisors regarding scheduling issues
Requirements:
• Proficient with business computer software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under pressure
• Experience in staff scheduling is preferred
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours
