In this hands-on position, you will work within the courtroom and office settings at various courts in Kingston and Napanee. You will manage court records, interact confidently with judges and the public, and assist in both online and in-person hearings. A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills are essential for effective client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with judges and public participants in court
• Handle and draft legal court documents efficiently
• Manage jury selections and court inventory
• Facilitate online meetings and hearings
• Deliver high-quality customer service to ensure public satisfaction
Requirements:
• Ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
• Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license
• Daily attendance at court locations required; no remote work
• Ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues as needed
