The Department Assistant role provides comprehensive support to senior staff and aids in the effective daily operations of the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies. You will coordinate administrative activities, manage communications, and assist with crucial personnel-related processes. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at aligning SKHS operations with University and Faculty policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative assistance to department staff
• Arrange meetings and special events for faculty
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and briefing documents for meetings
• Schedule interviews and performance reviews for staff
• Maintain databases, prepare reports, and analyze data
Requirements:
• Experience in administrative support roles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in database management
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently
• Familiarity with educational institution practices
