As a Diagnostic Imaging Secretary, you will work within the Imaging Services Administration team. Your responsibilities will include patient registration, managing imaging requests, and accurately processing patient data. You'll play an important role in supporting patient-centered care and improving quality outcomes for those visiting Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and register patients, verifying information accurately

• Process imaging requests, ensuring completeness and eligibility

• Schedule procedures while maintaining efficient wait times

• Communicate exam preparations to patients and referrers

• Manage inquiries and distribute digital images and reports

Requirements:

• 2 years in administrative support within healthcare

• Proficient in medical terminology and office technology

• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy

• Strong communication skills with patients and staff

• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under pressure
