Position: Project Buyer for Construction GDI Services
Location: Greater Napanee

Elevate your procurement career with GDI Services as a Project Buyer focused on construction services. Join a reputable team in managing on-site sourcing and contracts essential for project success.

This temporary role with GDI Services includes a 12-month contract, primarily engaging with the Global Procurement team and local construction stakeholders. You will lead the procurement of critical construction trade packages and equipment installation contracts, ensuring alignment between global strategies and local project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute project-level sourcing aligned with global strategies

• Lead RFI/RFP development and supplier selection

• Develop project procurement plans with stakeholders

• Maintain supplier relationships to meet financial targets

• Coordinate closely with construction teams for procurement alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement or construction purchasing

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Proficient in MS Office and SAP SRM

• Ability to work onsite in a construction environment
