Heavy Equipment Operations

Become a part of The Doornekamp Group as a Heavy Equipment Operator, focusing on projects in Kingston, Ontario. Operate multiple types of machinery for construction and marine logistics.

This role requires you to bring civil and commercial development plans to life through safe and efficient equipment operation. You will mainly work at job sites in the Greater Kingston Area but may have varied locations to cater to diverse projects.

Experience with loaders, graders, and excavation is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate excavators and loaders for various tasks

• Assist in road construction and site preparation

• Dredge and manage materials for marine logistics

• Maintain equipment through regular checks and servicing

• Report hazards and maintain safety standards in all operations

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment

• Strong knowledge of safety practices in construction

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on different sites

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to adapt to changing job site demands
