Work hours:

Monday to Friday, Float - Various Shifts (15 hours/week)

Pay rate: 21.56$/h

Customer Service Orientation and technology support.

• Serve customers efficiently and courteously on the telephone and in person
• Upsell and cross‑sell corporate products and services
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries; problem solve
• Resolve problem shipments and equipment/technology challenges
• Collaborate with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer service
• Build positive relationships with customers and key contacts (vendors, tenants, etc.)
• Assist customers with shipping details and account challenges using technology
• Load, scan, log, and call resolution freight
• Communicate positively with all stakeholders, both orally and in writing
• Maintain personal responsibility and accountability, including attendance and uniform compliance
• Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures and safety standards
• Live the Purolator values and represent them to customers and partners

• 3–12 months customer service experience (preferred)
• 3–12 months retail experience (preferred)
• 3–12 months using technology/POS system experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for 3 hour intervals
• Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills
• Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability (attendance, uniform compliance, attention to detail)
• Experience working in a team environment (asset)
• Experience working in a safety‑standard environment (asset)
• Language requirement: proficiency in English (required)
