Job Summary Reporting to the Department Manager and the Director of Experiential and Community Engaged Learning within the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies (SKHS), the Student Experience Coordinator supports the coordination and delivery of work-integrated learning experiences and program administration across SKHS initiatives, including the Revved Up exercise program. The incumbent coordinates placement logistics, student onboarding, scheduling, and work-term activities, and serves as a key liaison among students, faculty, and community partners.
The role supports efficient program operations, fosters high-quality student experiences, and promotes inclusive practices, particularly for persons experiencing disability.
This position advises prospective students who are members of underrepresented communities on matters including admissions, program details, university life, student resources and support, and financial assistance. This position works with students in underrepresented communities to identify and locate resources to support academic needs. This position works collaboratively with faculty and staff to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs, events, and services that encourage focused student enrollment and improve student experience.
This position plans, develops, implements, and evaluates non-traditional learning activities including placements, community-based projects, 'mini-stream' offerings, exchanges, and other experiential learning opportunities.
