The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board serves approximately 12,000 students, employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff, and covers a geographical area of more than 16,000 square kilometers (Whitney in the North, Picton in the South, Trenton in the West, and Kingston in the East). Position SummaryLearning Services Administrator provides supports to various staff members in the Learning Services department by performing various administrative duties related to Learning Services. The Administrator will be capable of handling a variety of sensitive and confidential assignments efficiently and with minimum supervision.
Qualifications- High School Diploma and Office Administration courses at a Community College.
- Minimum of two years of experience in office administration.
- Working knowledge of Board policies and procedures, Ministry guidelines, the Education Act, M.E.T. policies and procedures, provincial regulations, collective agreements, parent guidelines, and Special
Education:
A Guide for Educators (considered an asset). - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general computer literacy.
- Knowledge and effective use of in‑house software systems, with a commitment to ongoing skill development.
- Exceptional administrative, organizational, coordination, and management abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
