Position: UCDSB Student Monitor - Engage with Students
Location: Brockville

Join the Upper Canada District School Board as a Student Monitor and actively engage with students throughout the school day.

Your role will involve supervising, guiding, and ensuring adherence to school guidelines.

As a student-focused monitor, you will oversee students during breaks, in the halls, and on field trips while reporting to the Principal. A secondary school diploma is required alongside 6 months of supervisory experience with children. Your ability to communicate effectively will facilitate positive interactions with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight during lunch periods and hallway transitions

• Monitor behavior of students during field trips

• Inform students of school behavior expectations

• Maintain a strong attendance record while supervising

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Principal

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma mandatory

• 6 months supervisory experience with students is necessary

• CPR and First Aid considered a benefit

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to following school policies and guidelines
