This role is pivotal in promoting Indigenous education through supporting teacher candidates. You will facilitate enlightening programs while collaborating with faculty and community partners. The position calls for deep cultural insights and a commitment to nurturing relationships that amplify Indigenous teachings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer mentorship and advocacy for Indigenous students
• Organize and support cultural and ceremonial events
• Conduct workshops to enhance cultural capacity
• Serve as the hub for coordinated program support
• Represent Indigenous programs at university events
Requirements:
• University degree with 5+ years in Indigenous community services
• Profound understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions
• Strong mentoring and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous holistic health practices
• Commitment to community partnership and engagement
