Applications are now being accepted for the Occasional Teacher's List. Successful candidates will receive day-to-day teaching assignments through our occasional teacher call out system for schools selected within the UCDSB. Please visit  to view a copy of our Board map which will show you where our schools are located. As an occasional teacher, you are not expected to travel to every school.

You choose the locations where you are willing to travel to upon hire.

Joining the UCDSB in an occasional capacity is a great way to gain experience for those looking to obtain a long-term occasional and/or permanent position with UCDSB. You can, however, apply directly to long-term occasional and permanent positions even if you are not currently on the occasional list.

• OCT in Good Standing (if you have applied for your OCT, are on a temporary OCT certificate, or are a teacher candidate and graduating soon, you are welcome to apply now)

You may also wish to attach relevant diplomas, certifications, reference letters, etc. relevant to your application.
