Part-Time Secondary LTO Position

Join the Upper Canada District School Board as a part-time Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher. Engage with students in a meaningful way and expand your teaching journey.

This role encompasses a 0.33 FTE assignment for Semester One, effective until January 29, 2027, or until the current teacher returns. Candidates must possess an OCT in Good Standing and be qualified in Intermediate Physical & Health Education. The position may be shared among several educators based on administrative decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and facilitate the curriculum to secondary students

• Create engaging and diverse lesson plans

• Evaluate student performance consistently

• Foster teamwork with fellow educators

• Uphold the standards of the school board

Requirements:

• Must hold an OCT in good standing

• Required qualifications in Physical & Health Education

• Previous long-term teaching experience is an asset

• Provide references from recent supervisors

• Pass necessary screening and assessment processes
