Upper Student Monitor Position

Location: Brockville

Join the Upper Canada District School Board as a Student Monitor. Engage with students and contribute to their safety during key school times like lunch and breaks.

This position entails supervising students during their lunch, recess, and within the school setting. Applicants need a secondary school diploma and six months of relevant experience. Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to addressing student needs are vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision during nutrition and lunch breaks

• Monitor behavior of students in halls and school yard

• Communicate acceptable behavior guidelines to students

• Maintain attendance and ensure a safe atmosphere

• Carry out other assigned duties as per Principal direction

Requirements:

• Must possess a secondary school diploma

• Minimum of six months of supervisory experience with children

• First Aid and CPR training is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to adhere to school policies and procedures
