Elevate student learning as a permanent Secondary Teacher with the Upper Canada District School Board. This role focuses on Intermediate Physical & Health Education with a commitment to equity.
The UCDSB is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher for an established vacancy. This permanent position is part-time at 0.33 FTE per semester, subject to annual staffing processes per the OSSTF Collective Agreement. Candidates must hold OCT in Good Standing and have qualifications in Intermediate Physical & Health Education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Physical & Health Education to secondary students
• Deliver engaging lessons that enhance learning experiences
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
• Maintain a positive classroom environment for all learners
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) membership
• Qualifications in Intermediate Physical & Health Education
• Commitment to the principles of equity in education
• Strong communication skills with students and colleagues
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners
