Position: UCDSB Registered Early Childhood Educator Role
Location: Brockville

Contribute to children's development as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at the Upper Canada District School Board. Work collaboratively with educators to foster a safe and engaging learning atmosphere.

This role involves working directly with kindergarten students, guiding their learning experiences while collaborating with the educational team. You will develop and assess curricular activities tailored for young learners while providing vital support to families. Your expertise will help shape the educational journey of children in a culturally responsive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in planning and assessment of learning experiences

• Ensure student safety and supervision during activities

• Guide social skill development through play

• Maintain positive relationships with parents and the school community

• Participate in evaluating student progress and documenting outcomes

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum 2-3 years of childcare experience

• Thorough understanding of kindergarten curriculum

• Excellent communication and judgment skills
