CAD Technologist | Building Engineering

We are currently seeking a  CAD Technologist  to join our  Building Engineering Division   to workoutof our  Kingston  office.

Responsibilities

Prepare building envelope and structural repair drawings for a variety of building restoration projects using current Autodesk CAD software

Use Sketchup and Photoshop software to prepare renderings for cladding renovation projects

Requirements

Diploma in Architectural Technician/Technology or Civil Engineering Technician/Technology

0-2years of experience in a similar role(including co-op experience)

Certified Technician (C.Tech.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)designationor working towards

C.Tech. or C.E.T. designation

Architectural Technologist (MAATO) designation, or working towards MAATO designation;

Experienced with AutoCAD software

Knowledge of a variety of software including CAD, Sketchup and Photoshop

Understanding of applicable design standards, Ontario Building Code,and general engineering principles

Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent attention to detail

Salary Range

$23.79 – $29.74per hour, plus benefits

Hourly Wage will be based on individual education, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
