Development Engineer

Advance your engineering career with Kingston as a Development Engineer. Based in Calgary or Estevan, you will support project development and optimize asset performance through collaboration and analysis.

As a Development Engineer, you will report to the Enhancement & Sustainment Projects Manager. Leverage your expertise to develop business cases, manage asset programs, and assess opportunities within a regulated environment. Your strong critical thinking and collaborative skills will ensure you effectively drive project prioritization and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business cases for project prioritization and deployment

• Manage asset program plans for short- to medium-term

• Identify opportunities and prepare cost estimates and schedules

• Lead non-complex projects from definition to closeout

• Prepare materials for management and Board reviews

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years experience

• Background in facility and pipeline operations

• Knowledge of CSA Z662 and pipeline regulations

• Strong analytical and economic evaluation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
