Structural Erection Intern

Position: Canam Structural Erection Intern
Join Canam as a Structural Erection Intern and work on exciting steel projects from Mississauga, Ontario. This role supports field operations and will require site visits.

You will collaborate with the Field Operations Manager and help manage aspects of structural steel projects. With a blend of office and on-site activities, your duties will include schedule updates, quality oversight, and coordination meetings. Expect a regular work schedule and available overtime as the project necessitates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update the project schedule using MS Project or Smartsheet

• Document erection progress and daily reports

• Support the Site Superintendent in quality checks

• Validate delivery schedules and slips

• Participate in meetings with construction teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management

• Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace

• Excellent organizational and verbal/written skills

• Ability to multitask under pressure

• Willingness to travel to project sites in Ontario
